Meet Darrell & Kim Andruk
Darrell and Kim Andruk came from the Lower Mainland to 100 Mile House in 2017 because of their love for the area. They found that there wasn’t much access to on-site flooring installers in the Cariboo Region, in addition to limited flooring selections, so the Andruks answered the community’s needs. The married couple has been installing floors for over 30 years, with Darrell on the front-lines and Kim managing the operations and bookkeeping.
The Andruks had visited the area many times before and found themselves wanting to return again and again. As newcomers to the community of 100 Mile House, Darrell and Kim have found it easy to connect with the locals. Many of their customers have become repeat clients and more often than not, friends.
When Kim and Darrell have a moment to themselves, they enjoy fishing and exploring the wide range of outdoor activities offered in the South Cariboo. 100 Mile House is developing and becoming a wonderful place for families as many new businesses are opening in town. “Everyone is your neighbour! The whole community supports one another,” exclaimed Kim.
