Meet Lona Logan
Lona was fortunate to have purchased her new shop at a really great time. The previous owner was looking to retire. Lona was at home recuperating from cancer treatments and she just needed something else to focus on.
Lona expresses great gratitude to her family for all their help in getting her new business up and running. She explains that none of this would have been possible if it weren’t for everyone’s help. “My mother Judy practically lives in that back room,” she explains. “My sister has done so much as well, really everyone has.”
Living in 100 Mile, you get a chance to really take in the natural beauty. “My drive to work consists of trees, cows and lake views.” Lona explains, “I love to be outdoors spending time with my family and my dog.”
100 Mile House has so many successful women in business and Lona is fortunate to have two of the best business neighbours in town, Exquisite Florals and Dr. Specs. Lona is excited about the direction of business in 100 Mile House, mentioning she has seen many new businesses around town lately and there are more popping up. “It is quite an encouraging time to be an entrepreneur,” she says.
